METHOD FOR PRODUCING SEAWEED-GROWING BODY, SEAWEED-GROWING BODY, AND METHOD FOR GROWING SEAWEED

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seaweed-growing body enabling easy and inexpensive planting of a seaweed precursor or the like and also enabling better growth of the precursor planted in the sea than that in natural propagation when the conditions suitable for growth are settled: to provide a method for producing the seaweed-growing body: and to provide a method for growing seaweed utilizing the seaweed-growing body.;SOLUTION: The method for producing the seaweed-growing body comprises: (1) an application step for applying the seaweed precursor to be a seaweed leaf body when reproduced or grown, to a base material; (2) an adhesion step for making the precursor adhere to the base material after the resultant material is allowed to leave for a prescribed period of time; and (3) a coating step for applying water-soluble polymer solution satisfying specific viscosity and turbidity conditions to the precursor-adhering part of the base material to form a coating layer in the order listed. The seaweed-growing body is produced by the method. The method for growing seaweed includes storing the growing body while preventing the body from getting dry, and placing the growing body in the sea on a fine day.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
