PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a highly accurate language model adapted to the nature of a recognition object task and language model learning data.;SOLUTION: The system for generating language model includes a language model kind storage section and a language model combination selecting section. The language model kind storage section stores the kinds of language models usable for smoothing language models, and dependency thereof.
