PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for subjecting a plywood for a flooring base material to waterproofing treatment, which can form a wide waterproofing area on the cross section of the shorter length side of the plywood for a flooring base material.;SOLUTION: On the surface layer 2 located nearly 10 mm inside from the cross section 5 (13) of the plywood 1 for the flooring base material there is formed the groove 6 (14) which is almost parallel with the cross section 5 of the shorter length side. A waterproofing agent or water repellent 7 is injected into the formed groove 6 (14), to infiltrate the repellent 7 into the surface layer 2 (and the second layer 3) from both sides of the groove 6 (14).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
