PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional fabric treating agent capable of firmly fixing a cyclodextrin clathrate onto the surface of a fabric while suppressing falling off of a guest molecule as much as possible and to provide a method for producing a functional fabric by using the treating agent.;SOLUTION: The functional fabric treating agent includes a cyclodextrin clathrate, an aqueous polyisocyanate compound, cyclodextrins not including the guest molecule, water and further preferably a glyoxal-based resin. The method for producing the functional fabric includes the step of attaching the functional fabric treating agent to the fabric and the step of polymerizing the aqueous polyisocyanate compound contained in the functional fabric treating agent on the surface of the fabric.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
