PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device for an elevator having a simple structure, manufactured at low cost, and having the high freedom degree in arrangement of a speed control device rope and a safety link. ;SOLUTION: A lift rod lever 5 and a connecting rod lever 6 are integrated to be an L-shaped lever 50.
