PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a porous graphite carbon with high crystallinity, by a method for hydrothermally treating sucrose being a carbon precursor, a transitional metal precursor and uniform-sized silica particles at the same time and carbonizing the resulting polymer. PSOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the porous graphite carbon includes: a first step of dispersing sucrose, a transitional metal precursor and silica particles in distilled water and conducting hydrothermal treatment to prepare a polymer; a second step of drying the polymer obtained by the hydrothermal treatment and conducting thermal treatment at 700-1500C under vacuum or under a stream of an inert gas to prepare a composite; and a third step of treating the composite obtained in the thermal treatment step with fluoric acid or sodium hydroxide solution, followed by washing and filtration to obtain the porous graphite carbon.
