PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color changeable ink composition suitable for use in the memorization and memory work field and the magical field which forms any handwriting by writing, the handwriting ceasing to be visually recognized with time and appearing by cooling when needed, color changeable writing implements housing the same, and a color changeable writing implement set. PSOLUTION: The color changeable ink composition comprises a microcapsulated pigment containing a reversible thermochromic composition which comprises at least an electron-donating color developable organic compound (i), an electron-accepting compound (ii), and a reaction medium (iii) for controlling the color developing reaction of the above (i) and (ii), color-develops by lowering the temperature, and color-erases by raising the temperature, a pH indicator which color-develops in an alkaline region and color-erases in a neutral to acidic region, and an alkaline substance and has a pH in the range of 8-12. The color changeable writing implements house the above color changeable ink composition. The above color changeable writing implements has a friction member and the color changeable writing implement set comprises the color changeable writing implements and the friction member.
