PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens which hardly produces unnecessary light and is suitable for a projection lens. PSOLUTION: The zoom lens is used as the projection lens of a projector in which a prism is disposed between the projection lens and a space light modulator B.
