PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of received messages in a mobile unit at a roaming destination as high as that in a mobile unit at a roaming source, if the transfer protocol of messages to be transferred, using a push type transfer protocol, differs between the roaming source and the roaming destination. PSOLUTION: Upon receipt of a termination report request from a mail server MALS, a gateway exchange GMMS decides whether a mobile unit MS at the address of the termination report is roaming out of a mobile communication network IMT to a mobile communication network GSM, and, when deciding it is roaming out, sends a termination report message with added information peculiar to the gateway exchange GMMS in an SMS message format to a mobile unit MS at the address. Upon receipt of the SMS message, the mobile unit MS determines the send source of the message, based on this message and predetermined key information, and discards this message, if the send source is not the gateway exchange GMMS.
