PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the input of alphabet character strings corresponding to the reading of a Chinese Kanji character. PSOLUTION: This device has a plurality of input keys 9 capable of classifying a plurality of alphabet characters included in the alphabet character strings of the reading of the Chinese Kanji character to combinations of one or two sounds, and collectively inputting a plurality of alphabet characters corresponding to each sound. Accordingly, even in case of Chinese Kanji character having a large number of alphabet characters showing the reading, a user can input the alphabet character strings corresponding to a desired Chinese Kanji character with a minimized operation.
