PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide remote video display technology whereby video imaging apparatuses are switched without enforcing on a user to enter an ID of a video imaging apparatus or the like in the case of selecting one of a plurality of the video imaging apparatuses installed at remote places and of displaying a video image. PSOLUTION: The imaging position of a video imaging apparatus used for present display is acquired to determine a switched destination video imaging apparatus on the basis of the imaging position and an installed position of each video imaging apparatus. Succeedingly, the technology acquires an apparatus type of the switched destination video imaging apparatus and generates control information in response to an imaging position and an apparatus type required for the switched destination video imaging apparatus to image a video image at a present imaging position. Then the technology transmits the generated control information to the switched destination video imaging apparatus to control the video image transmitted from the switching destination video imaging apparatus to be equal to the imaged imaging position at present and switches the video imaging apparatus used for present display into the switched destination video imaging apparatus.
