PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for automatically sorting bar food units normally cut in their both ends at uneven parts from inadequatly cut ones and an apparatus for producing the bar food using the sorting device.;SOLUTION: The device for sorting bar food units is equipped with a conveying means for conveying the bar food units prepared by cutting a chain-like bar food raw material in which many bar-like bar food units are connected in a chain-like style through uneven parts at the uneven parts by using a cutter, a bar food-conveying path having a width larger than the diameter of the bar food and less than the longitudinal length of the bar food and a sorting means for sorting insufficiently cut bar food units in which two or more bar food units are connected through the uneven parts from the bar food units discharged from the conveying path.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
