PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output device selection system that suitably reduces effort and time for the installation of drivers and reduces a user's effort for setting.;SOLUTION: A network printer 100, if printing conditions included in received dedicated print data indicate that they should be printed in another network printer 100, converts the received dedicated print data into intermediate print data and transfers the converted intermediate print data to another network printer 100. If the printing conditions included in the received dedicated print data indicate that they should be printed in the network printer 100 itself, the printer prints according to the received dedicated print data, and if receiving intermediate print data, it converts the received intermediate print data into dedicated print data and prints according to the converted dedicated print data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
