PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for preventing lowering of the water content of soft contact lenses and to provide an ophthalmic composition for soft contact lenses which maintains good feeling in wearing soft contact lenses particularly when administered as eye drops to eyes with soft contact lenses.;SOLUTION: The composition for preventing lowering of the water content of soft contact lenses contains 0.005-5 W/V% acidic mucopolysaccharide and 0.2-10 W/V% glycerol.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
