PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic sound identification device for identifying a traffic sound with extremely high precision and a traffic sound decision program for making a computer function as a traffic sound identification device, a recording medium and a traffic sound decision method. PSOLUTION: This traffic sound identification device is provided with L pieces of neural networks (200.1, 200.2, ...., 200.L) for deciding the type of a traffic sound and a learning circuit (210) for learning the L pieces of neural networks. The type of the traffic sound is decided (S264) based on the majority decision of the L pieces of decision results to be outputted from the learnt L pieces of neural networks.
