From data of tiled still image for screening and zooming and data of edited still images for focusing, which are obtained by applying a predetermined processing to the data of still image, an animated image for screening, an animated image for zooming, and an animated image for focusing are created, and an animated image reproducing motion of a microscopic image in actual microscope observation is displayed on a computer screen. And, when a mouse cursor is located on a specific region of the animated image, a comment balloon about the specific region is displayed.
