The device has a sliding door (1) slidably drawn against an adjacent wall and movable between two positions in a direction perpendicular to a plane of one of two door panels. The sliding door is close to an extension of the plane of the adjacent wall in one position and is far away relative to the adjacent wall in the other position. The sliding door comprises a displacement unit for a sliding bearing for opening and closing. Width of the sliding door is equivalent to thickness of the wall when the sliding door is in the former position.
