Hydroxyapatites modified adsorbents based on and the process of remou00c7u00e7o of mercu00e9rio using such adsorbents.The innovation proposed relates to adsorbents based on hydroxyapatites modified by the presence of copper for the removal of mercury in aqueous medium or hydrocarbons, using techniques such as ion exchange, impregnation of dry and copreciptau00e7u00e3o, followed by calcination with Synthetic air and sulfetau00e7u00e3o with H ~ 2 ~ s.The capacity and strength of adsorption were determined by isothermal adsorption, and showed that the hydroxyapatites modified has a 15% increase in the maximum capacity adsorbed per gram of material and standard of around 42% when normalised by the surface specific when Compared with the pure hydroxyapatite.
