AN IMPROVED PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF A SYNERGISTIC INSECTICIDAL COMPOSITION OF CYPERMETHRIN AND QUINALPHOS

An aromatic hydrocarbon solvent in required quantity is taken in a glass vessel, equipped with stirrers. With continuous stirring, a specified quantity of preheated Cypermethrin technical having cis-isomer 80 % is gradually added . After this a specified quantity of Quinalphos technical is gradually added and the whole mass is continuously stirred for sometimes. After this, the adjuvant, stabilizer, sticker cum rainfastcner, emetic agent and dye are added in required quantities. Next the surfactant is added and agitation is continued to make the whole mass homogeneous. Thereafter the mass is filtered in a known manner to get ready to use emulsifiable concentrate (EC).
