The present invention relates to a method for isolating a population ofCDllc+, CDI4+ dendritic cells, comprising: obtaining a population of dendritic cell precursors, differentiating the precursors into immature or mature dendritic cells by in vitro culture in GM-CSF, interleukin 4, GM-CSF and interleukin 4, interleukin 13, or interleukin 15, and at least '1 % plasma and selecting the population of CD 11 c +, CD 14+ dendritic cells from the immature or mature dendritic cells.
