The kit has flat triangular transparent film parts (A, A') attached to a usual plastic shopping bag (3) using an adhesive for making a kite i.e. sled kite, having reinforcing rings, so as to form wing parts of the kite using the flat triangular transparent film part. An elongated rigid part i.e. fiber reinforced plastic rod, is attached to the sides of the bag, so as to form a frame for the kite. An elongated flexible part i.e. plastic tape or polyethylene strip (F) is attached to a bottom part of the usual bag, so as to form a tail part of the kite. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a kite.
