Human fetal bladder-derived epithelial cells

Disclosed is a substantially pure population of human foetal urinary bladder-derived epithelial cells wherein said cells have a capacity to differentiate into bladder or prostate epithelium and wherein said cells are positive for molecular marker H19 imprinted gene mRNA and lacking alpha-actin expression.
