Wrapping paper (31, 41), particularly kraft or sack paper, characterized in that the packaging paper (31, 41) has at least in certain areas a reticular structure (32, 42) with islets of discrete surface (33, 45) enclosed by the lattice structure (32, 42) which are poor in paper fibers compared with the network structure (32, 42) and whose density is therefore smaller than the density of the lattice structure (32 , 42).
