A wind tunnel type power generator includes a shell (5) with an adjustable wind shroud that is fixed on a turntable type base (12) and a stator (6), a rotor (8), and a plurality of blades (7) mounted within the shell (5). Said rotor's inner circumference is securely connected with each blade top, said rotor (8) is mounted in the stator (6) by means of a bearing (10), and a slideway on said rotor's outer circumference rotates along a guide on a supporting plate (4) on each side of the shell (5). The adjustable wind shroud consists of a wind deflector (1) that is articulated around a connecting plate (13) and a hydraulic cylinder (2), said connecting plate (13) is fixed at a side of the supporting plate (4) of the shell (5). A cylinder body end of the hydraulic cylinder (2) is articulated on the connecting plate (13) by means of a pin shaft (3), a piston head of the hydraulic cylinder (2) is articulated on the wind deflector (1), and the hydraulic cylinder (2) drives the wind deflector (1) to swing around an articulated shaft. The generator can collect the wind when the wind speed is weak, thus improving wind energy effect, and can resist the wind when the wind is strong, thus effectively preventing the parts of the generator from being destroyed.
