A video/audio providing system includes a server that delivers video and audio information to a network in which a video displaying apparatus and a plurality of audio outputting apparatuses are connected as terminal apparatuses. The server determines transmission delay times for the terminal apparatuses at predetermined timings and stores, into a database, transmission delay time information in which several pieces of identifying information each for identifying terminal apparatuses disposed for each management block are associated with the transmission delay times. The server then detects the longest transmission delay time from the transmission delay time information and creates setting delay time information based on a difference between the transmission delay time of each terminal apparatus and the longest transmission delay time. The server then sets the respective pieces of the setting delay time information to the respective terminal apparatuses.
