An information processing device which improves user operability while achieving power saving. Upon detection of operation of an operational section (1a) to start information processing sections (1f), (1g), a status checking section (1c) checks current power feeding status of the information processing sections (1f), (1g). A startup method identification section (1d) identifies the information processing section to be started between the information processing sections (1f), (1g) as well as the power feeding status to which the information processing section is shifted after detection of operation of the operational section (1a) in accordance with a result of power feeding status checked by the status checking section (1c) and startup information stored on a startup information storage section (1b). A startup control section (1e) starts the information processing section to be started which is identified by the startup method identification section (1d). Subsequently, the startup control section (1e) shifts the started information processing section to the power feeding status identified by the startup method identification section (1d).
