Method and assembly for defending against ballistic missiles with the help of diverting missiles

The method involves generating control signals of rocket-impelled cruise missiles (2) on a board under utilization of a target detecting radar (3) and a laser-target tracker (6). The radar and the tracker serve for actual determination of a flight path of projectiles i.e. artillery projectiles (1). The tracker is introduced towards the target and controlled by the radar for actual active illumination of the detected projectiles. The cruise missiles launched after detecting of the target are guided into an illuminated target by using a guide beam that is aligned to the target. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for implementing a method for defensing of ballistic projectiles.
