A sweet dandelion leached tea composition, and a method for preparing the tea composition are provided to neutralize the bitter taste of dandelion and to increase the purity of a tea bag. A sweet dandelion leached tea composition comprises 90~75 wt% of the dried dandelion (Taraxacum platycarpum), 5~15 wt% of the dried Glycyrrhizae Radix, and 5~10 wt% of stevia. Preferably the dandelion is steamed with stevia, and the Glycyrrhizae Radix is parched in a pot.
