NOVEL BACTERIOPHAGE HAVING KILLING ACTIVITY SPECIFIC TO SALMONELLA SELECTED FROM INFECTIOUS BACTERIOPHAGES OF SALMONELLA ENTERITIDIS

摘要

A Bacteriophage for selectively annihilating salmonella selected from infectious bacteriophages of Salmonella enteritidis is provided to prevent and cure the diseases caused by Salmonella. A Bacteriophage(KCTC 11173BP) has killing activity specific to salmonella selected from infectious bacteriophages of Salmonella enteritidis. The Bacteriophage has the genome represented by the part gene sequence of SEQ ID NO:1 to SEQ ID NO:25. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing the disease caused by the Salmonella genus bacteria comprises the bacteriophage having killing activity specific to salmonella. The disease caused by the Salmonella genus bacteria is sitotoxism, lymphocytic enteritis, salmonellosis, fowl typhoid or bacteremia.
