An idle pulley alignment apparatus for an automobile is provided to prevent a belt from being taken off because position of an engine crank pulley is accurately fitted as a sliding pulley moves in the axial direction in an idle pulley. An idle pulley alignment apparatus for an automobile comprises a main pulley(110) in which a sliding unit(112) with a first belt mounting unit(111) and a sliding groove(113) is formed; a sliding pulley(120) in which a second belt mounting unit(121) in which a belt connected with an engine crank pulley is mounted is formed; and a locking unit(130) fixing the sliding pulley on one spot of the sliding unit. The sliding pulley unit can slide in the sliding unit in the axial direction.
