A method for increasing the scattering dust collecting efficiency for a tilting runner of a blast furnace is provided to introduce atmospheric air into a tilting rubber via an opening in small width when suction force is generated from a dust collecting hood, thereby reducing the air introduction and improving dust collecting efficiency.
