GROUP NAME PROVIDING SYSTEM AND GROUP NAME DISPLAYING METHOD FOR MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND HOME LOCATION REGISTER

A system for offering a group name, a method for displaying the group name, and an HLR(Home Location Register) are provided to enable a user to refuse a PR(PUBLIC RELATION)/AD(Advertisement) call by displaying the group name of a caller terminal to a receiver terminal. A group name providing server(60) stores terminal information of subscribers by each group name. A mobile switching center(40) processes a calling/receiving call between a caller terminal(10) and a receiver terminal(15). When a request signal according to a calling signal of the caller terminal is received from the mobile switching center, a controller(50) obtains the group name corresponding to terminal information of the caller terminal from the group name providing server. The controller provides the obtained group name to the mobile switching center.
