PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing the oxidation and degradation of the material within a heating cylinder of an injection molding machine is provided to prevent the oxidation and degradation of the material left inside a heating cylinder.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for preventing the oxidation and degradation of the material within a heating cylinder of an injection molding machine includes a material supply plate(42) which is installed so as to be reciprocated in order to open and close an material injection hole. An air cylinder(4) has a piston rod tip which is connected to the material supply plate to reciprocate it.
