PURPOSE: A system and a method for aggregating a transmission network are provided to improve efficiency of the transmission network by aggregating a generator bus and a load bus into one bus. CONSTITUTION: A bus lines division module(120) indexes buses with similar limit price. A line flow generation module(130) generates the first percent line flow. A bus deviation module(140) generates a first deviation coefficient and a second deviation coefficient. A dual deviation generation module(150) generates a first dual deviation coefficient and a second dual deviation coefficient. A similar index generation module(160) generates a first similar index and a second similar index by extracting the maximum of the first and second dual deviation coefficients. A similar bus division module(170) indexes the generator bus group and the load bus group with smaller error factor than the first and second similarity indexes. A bus aggregation module(180) generates a first aggregation bus and a second aggregation bus by aggregating the indexed generator bus group and load bus group. An admittance generation module(190) generates the admittance information.
