PURPOSE: A method for synthesizing multi-walled carbon nanotubes coated with cuprous oxide nanoparticles is provided for use in catalyst and photoelectric fields.;CONSTITUTION: A method for synthesizing multi-walled carbon nanotubes coated with cuprous oxide nanoparticles comprises the followings steps of: dispersing multi-walled carbon nanotubes in Fehling's reagent; adding formaldehyde as a reducing agent to the carbon nanotubes and stirring together; and washing and drying the carbon nanotubes.
