An earthfall prevention facility for a river bank or a slope is provided to drain rainwater infiltrating into the slope by installing corrugated horizontal drain pipes, a corrugated horizontal joint pipe, a corrugated direction change joint, a corrugated vertical drain pipe, and a corrugated drain way under the earth of the slope. An earthfall prevention facility for a river bank or a slope comprises a corrugated first horizontal drain pipe, a corrugated horizontal joint pipe(40), a corrugated second horizontal drain pipe, a corrugated direction change joint(50), a corrugated vertical drain pipe, and corrugated a drain way(90). The first and second horizontal drain pipes are installed along a slope of the bank and each has perforations. The first horizontal drain pipe has drain holes at regular distances on one side. The second horizontal drain pipe has drain holes at regular distances on both sides. The horizontal joint pipe shapes into an 'H' and includes two parallel horizontal joints and a first connection pipe between the horizontal joints. The horizontal joint pipe is connected with the horizontal drain pipes. The direction change joint has a horizontal joint pipe and a vertical joint pipe which are connected with each other by a second connection pipe. The vertical drain pipe connects with the vertical joint pipe of the direction change joint and has a connection hole communicating with the second connection pipe. The drain way is installed at the bottom of the slope to drain rainwater to a river.
