A mobile terminal for implementing a nickname service having a personal information exposure protection function in a mobile communications system according to a telephone number whether a destination terminal stored in an address book equipped in the calling terminal, a system thereof and a method thereof are provided to prevent the exposure of personal information in mobile communication system. A user connects to a web server through wireless network or the wired network. The call originating is requested in the calling terminal. If the user selects the prescribed button of the calling terminal, the calling terminal determines the telephone number of the called terminal is registered in the address book equipped in its own memory(S320, S330). According to the registration information whether the telephone number of the called terminal is registered in the address book, the calling terminal provides the nickname information corresponding to the calling terminal to the called terminal(S360, S370). The calling terminal transmits the second prescribed message with the switch or the home location register. According to the switch or the home location register is the second prescribed message, the call connection control in which the nickname information is not included is performed(S340, S350).
