METHOD OF STABILITY INVESTIGATION FOR STRUCTURES TO BUOYANCY MOMENT

PURPOSE: A method of stability evaluation for structures on a buoyancy moment is provided to improve safety of the structure by evaluating stability in the structure in consideration of the buoyancy moment. CONSTITUTION: A method of stability evaluation for structures on a buoyancy moment comprises following steps. The modeling data of a structure is inputted(100). A rotary shaft is selected from lines connecting adjacent outer points among an outer plane formed of outer lines of the structure contacted with the surface before or after filling during the construction of the structure using the inputted modeling data(300). The factor of safety is calculated in consideration of buoyancy moment and resistance moment of the structure against the selected rotary shaft(500). The stability is evaluated by comparing the calculated the factor of the safety and the allowable factor of safety set up in advance(700).
