FIELD: physics; radio.;SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to radio engineering and can be used in antenna-feeder devices as a linear polarisation beamed antenna, and in particular, in radio systems for landing aircraft. In-phased currents are excited conductors of the rhomb shaped elements through coaxial feeder. Current distribution is formed in conductors of elements with formation of antinodes in the middle of the side of the elements and nodes at the ends of the sides. Periodic interruption of current passing from supply points of the array to adjacent pairs of rhomb shaped elements is carried out, as well as excitation of the array transmitters by voltage in standing wave antinodes, formed in the twin line. Resonance tuning of outermost array transmitters is carried out. All the array transmitters are phased. The amplitude of the exciting voltage transmitters is levelled and current is balanced in the conductors of the twin line relative zero potential points. The antenna-feeder device contains a cophased antenna array of rhomb-shaped elements with open ends. In places of connecting two rhomb shaped elements between their conductors, there are gaps in current nodes at the ends of the sides. In places of connecting the rhomb shaped elements, there are periodically repeating breakages of the conductors of the rhomb shaped elements with formation of a transmitter array in form of pairs of rhomb shaped elements. In the antenna array in the gaps of rhomb shaped elements, there is a twin line, to which the array transmitters are connected. With the chosen structure and geometry of the cophased antenna array of rhomb shaped elements, as well as the proposed method of exciting and tuning it, there is uniform distribution of currents and their phase coincidence in conductors of the rhomb shaped elements.;EFFECT: improved uniform distribution of currents and their phase coincidence in conductors of the rhomb shaped elements; improved matching of antennae with feeder; greater control instrumentation of transmitting apertures and wider service band.;8 cl, 10 dwg
