METHOD OF SEALING LOGGING CABLE WHEN IT MOVES BETWEEN SPACE INSIDE COLUMN OF PRODUCTION OR PRESSURE WELL AND ATMOSPHERE, AND DEVICE USED FOR METHOD REALISATION

FIELD: oil and gas industry.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to sealing equipment. Method of sealing the logging cable when it moves between the space inside the column of production or pressure well and atmosphere provides for interconnection of upper lay-up of cable armature with stuffing-box packing material. To the stuffing-box packing material there applied is initial load thus carrying out nonelastic deformation of the material, at which the latter obtains the shape of a "nut" with multiplex thread, and maintains that shape after initial load has been released when operating within the whole pressure differential range. Under the influence of force of logging cable linear displacement relative to stuffing-box there generated is torque moment which provides rotation of stuffing-box about cable axis. Device used for method realisation is made in the form of three ready-made chambers: upper chamber contacting the atmosphere, intermediate chamber filled in with grease, and lower chamber installed on the well. Operating volumes of chambers are connected through a pressure regulator to the space inside the column of production or pressure well.;EFFECT: improving reliability of the sealing.;5 cl, 3 dwg
