FIELD: metallurgy.;SUBSTANCE: method includes drying, tempering of raw materials, charging of stock and reducing fusion in electric furnace. Additionally reducing fusion is implemented in two stages. At the first stage it is implemented reducing fusion of oxidised copper-cobalt raw material with receiving of blister copper and cobalt-bearing slag. At the second stage it is implemented reducing fusion with impoverishment of cobalt-bearing slag with formation of disposal slag, cobalt-bearing alloy and copper-iron alloy, which is fed into the first stage. Drying and tempering of initial raw materials is implemented by heat of effluent gas of two electric furnaces.
