MANDIBULAR ALVEOLOPLASTY TECHNIQUE

FIELD: medicine; dentistry.;SUBSTANCE: mucous membrane and periosteum are incised from top alveolar crest to mucous membrane of lip, one being within frenulum and two being within canines. Subperiosteal tunnel is formed between lateral incisions. It is followed with osteotomy of external compact plate and compact osteotomy of internal compact plate in anterior part to form a bone fragment. The formed fragment is lifted to put thereunder an implant of desired height modelled in shape of alveolar crest. In that specific case, the implant is made of polytetrafluorethylene.;EFFECT: restored anatomic form in evident atrophy, reduced postoperative injuries.;2 cl, 1 ex, 5 dwg
