The procedure for the production of multilayered foil (1) or transfer foil for packaging electronic articles, comprises subjecting a metallic layer (13) completely in an area (10) of the foil by a vapor-treatment method or sputtering in a layer thickness of less than 60 nm and mechanically processing the metallic layer by a tool such a way that the metallic layer is interrupted in the total area frequently by interruptions and the metal parcel possess itself a small dimension of less than 300 mu m. The foil has a transparent carrier layer (11) made of polyethylene terepthalate material. The procedure for the production of multilayered foil (1) or transfer foil for packaging electronic articles, comprises subjecting a metallic layer (13) completely in an area (10) of the foil by a vapor-treatment method or sputtering in a layer thickness of less than 60 nm and mechanically processing the metallic layer by a tool such a way that the metallic layer is interrupted in the total area frequently by interruptions and the metal parcel possess itself a small dimension of less than 300 mu m. The foil has a transparent carrier layer (11) made of polyethylene terepthalate material with a layer thickness of 10-100 mu m. A thermoplastic varnish layer (12) is subjected with a thickness of 0.1-25 mu m before subjecting the metallic layer, which is subjected on the varnish layer. The interruptions are brought into the metallic layer by scrapers or punching tool or friction-, brushing or cutting tool, which are arranged or led over the surface of the metallic layer so that the metal parcel possesses an average smaller dimension in a first direction of less than 150 mu m and an average larger dimension in second direction of up to 30 mm. The punching depth is selected so that the metallic layer and a part of the varnish layer are separated by the punching tool. The interruptions are subjected into the metallic layer. The varnish layer is strongly deformed from the sides of the metallic layer by a heated pressing tool that shreds the metallic layer. The penetration depth and relief form of the pressing tool is selected so that the metallic layer is stretched during area wisely pressing around more than 10%. An independent claim is included for multilayered foil or transfer foil for packaging purposes.
