The joint has outer and inner parts (2, 3), each with a set of ball grooves provided at inner and outer peripheries of the joint, respectively. Each groove at the parts forms a pair of ball grooves. Balls are arranged in the pairs. A retainer (9) between the outer and inner parts receives each ball in a peripheral direction of a window. A control of the joint is affected through all crossed ball grooves, in a bend angle range of the joint and through dual-offset of the retainer outer and inner surfaces (12, 13) in another bend angle range, based on the center of bend of joint.
