The method involves connecting two common-interface conditional access modules on two common-interfaces, fixed to a digital video broadcast receiver. The two common-interface conditional access modules communicate directly with one another by one or more hardware interfaces. The communication between the common-interface conditional access modules takes place in an encoded manner. An independent claim is also included for a device for decrypting multiple services in different transport streams.
