The panel has functional keys arranged for a multiline display (16) e.g. LCD, such that each function key is assigned a navigation field of a dialogue mask. A number of faults e.g. indication about an error of a drive, and/or warnings is visible as plain text and two of the navigation fields (46, 48) provided with close and list functionalities during occurrence of faults and/or warnings in a current operational display of an operator screen (44) .The faults are visible by graphical representation.
