The holder has casings (9, 10) made of plastic for attachment at steering and partial shafts (1, 2, 3), where the casings are attached in a form-fit and force-fit manner on the shafts by local heating and cooling of the shafts. The partial shafts are connected with each other with a torque sensor arrangement (5) via a torsion element (4). The torque sensor arrangement consists of a magnet assembly on one of the casings of the holder at one of the partial shafts and a stator assembly with a magnetic field-sensitive sensor on the other casing of the holder at the other partial shaft. An independent claim is also included for a method for fixing a sensor holder.
