The tablespoon has a spoon bowl (1) including a reservoir (3) that is provided with a set of overflow outlets (2) at a handle side of the spoon bowl and/or at the side of the spoon bowl that is outside a wall of reservoir regions, or outside a reservoir outlet corridor (5). The wall of reservoir regions is widened by other reservoir regions (4) at the handle side. The reservoir outlet corridor has a width in a range between 35 and 75 percentage of an overall width of the spoon bowl. The reservoir is separated from an overall fluid holding capacity i.e. volume, of the spoon bowl.
