The invention relates to a process for the treatment of domestic sewage accumulating in households, which is conveyed by means of a vacuum sewage system and then treated anaerobically and / or aerobically. In order to make full use of the regenerative energy potential in the waste water and the biomass produced in the wastewater treatment, it is proposed that domestic wastewater be enriched with organic substances in order to then supply this by means of negative pressure to a collecting tank.
