The multilayer printed circuit board has a ground layer forming a layer (3) and has a pulse or signal transmission lying in another layer (5) spaced from the former layer. A unit (11) has a ground island (7), which lies in a third layer (6) spaced from another layer. The pulse or signal transmission is located between the ground layer and the ground island. The ground island is actively connected with the ground layer by an interlayer connection (8) in electric manner. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing a multilayer printed circuit board.
